Terms of Service
The service
SmileCast is a cosmetic visualisation tool that produces stylised previews of tooth shade and shape on your own photos. It is provided for informational and entertainment purposes and is not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment plan.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
Free trial and subscription
New accounts include a 48-hour free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a SmileCast Premium subscription at AU$14 per month (AUD) for Australian members or US$9 per month (USD) elsewhere — the price shown at signup applies, billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Payments are non-refundable for partial periods, except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully; do not upload images of other people without their consent; do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service; do not present previews as professional dental imagery or expected clinical outcomes.
Intellectual property
SmileCast, its design, and its software are our property. Your photos remain yours — we claim no rights over them, and since they never leave your device, we never possess them.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Previews are artistic approximations; actual dental results vary by person, method, and practitioner. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on previews. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination and changes
You may stop using SmileCast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We may update these terms; continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
